Burleson Mountain in Bloom

Artist Tommy Thompson enjoyed visiting the Burleson Mountain home of David and Anne Burleson recently to look for scenes to paint. The Burleson Mountain land where their home is located is called Westview. The Hartselle, AL, estate was settled in 1811 by Jonathan Burleson and the home was  built in 1841. The painter was captivated by a beautiful flower garden on the property and has preserved it in this oil painting.
